Athenasoft Sp. z o.o. was founded in 1998. The leading product offered by the company – cost estimation program NORMA, had been already worked out in 1986. Throughout the years the company profile was broadened by publishing activity – electronic quarterly issue of Buduj z Głowa for construction industry, developing the training programs within the framework of Athenasoft Academy, as well as releasing the complex ERP-class system dedicated to manage the construction company – CAPITAL. At the moment Athenasoft offers wide range of software, including the above products, as well as VIKING – program dedicated to public administration and companies applying for grants within the EU structural funds.
 
Athenasoft software is being developed based on the latest Microsoft technology.
Long-term cooperation with this computer potentate resulted in granting Athenasoft the Microsoft Gold Certified Partner title. The software offered by company comply with legal and economical requirements of the Polish market, as well as the European Union regulations.
Since 2001 the company regularly participates in Business Fair Play program. The fulfillment of tight requirements of the program is confirmed by the certificate granted to Athenasoft six times in turn. In year 2007 Athenasoft expects to receive the Business Fair Play gold statuette.
 In 2003 Athenasoft was also granted the accreditation of Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) - within the Phare program.
In 2004 Athenasoft introduced the quality management system ISO 9001:2000, which helps improve he customer satisfaction and effectively control product quality at every stage of production.
